Each holiday meant huge preparations for everyone in school, and teaching in an exclusive Catholic school meant that the school holiday celebrations standards were ten times better and fancier than other state run schools. It was difficult to achieve this at first, but knowing that we were not just pleasing the students, but gratifying their parents most especially, we had no other recourse but to give the best shot we could.
Our head mistress informed us of a different Holiday drive then, and it was going to be a VIP holiday Car Donations event that will be graced by the city’s VIPs, parents and other high profile community constituents. The purpose for this was to adopt a least three (that was the whopping target) charitable organizations in the country all at the same time.
One could have doubted the success of this feat, but she based the event with similar House Donations and Boat Donations events in other key cities within the country and across the posh places of Europe too.
The activity was not just a screaming success — it became a hot media item that gave credit to the school’s dreaming of the almost impossible, yet pulling it off with flying colors.
