Mothers only want the best for their kids. Even before I got pregnant, I have already been playing with the idea of how great I’d raise my future kid. When I got pregnant last year, I did not go straight to my husband to deliver the good news. I went to my computer and started jotting down ideas on how her room would look like. Since I was a kid, I have always dreamt of having that Victorian inspired room. That’s the kind of nursery decor I wanted to give my baby. Of course, the baby furniture should match the overall theme of the my baby’s room. When me and my design team (composed of good friends and my husband) finally set up the room, it turned out like a room fit for a princess. I loved it to bits. When I finally gave birth to a healthy baby girl, my friends surprised me by giving as gifts to their godchild personalized kids toys that my baby girl would surely love. The total effect of the room was so gorgeous, I wanted it to be me and my husband’s room. And since I had to keep close to my baby during the crucial first few months, we installed a nice bed in the nursery room. I would stay there for hours as I sing my princess soft lullabies.
